Hi Wulstang
thanks for the detailed comments. You are right – there are a lot of information combined. WE have created and used this format in the last 5 years in the 12Stunden.ch rally.
My goal was to create a compressed form which enable us to create a bonusbook with a lot (a real lot of) Bonuspoints for 12 days. Verry important was, that the bomusbook could be created without any manual interaction “simple” by using Word, Exel, PDF24.
I aggree with you that the nice pictos from gerhard where helpfull – on the other hand side – having the small box wit R, B, W on top right corner is an other way.
At the end – we will never ever found a format which makes all of us happy.
I hope when rally starts you will found a way to handle the planing also with this format.
Peter
Thanks for the news letters and the attachments.
With regards the Rally Book and the checkpoints. I know that organising a rally on this scale is a major task so the points I am going to raise I know may not change anything.
The way the checkpoint information in given is confusing which could cause a far greater number of lost points. I will list my concerns in the same numerical order.
1. Too much information, the Bonus no. should be separate by it’s self. All Day, Daylight should be in an requirements box together with the points and any other requirements, i.e. rider in picture. National flag isn’t required.
2. Category of bonus fine, I presume categories will play a part in the rally.
3. Points fine
4. Requirements in the picture, using letters is confusing pictures as developed by Gerhard for the Euro tour 2014. Direction seems a bit confusing, this could be replaced with the rule you must replicate the picture in the rally book.
5. Is fine.
6. Information this is fine, this were you tell us to what we have to do.
You have worked hard and it looks great. My suggestions will make it more enjoyable and easier to understand each bonus’s requirements.
